SK Katsastus needed a spring campaign ad that would work both in digital format and in a printed newspaper. The ad had to catch attention quickly, communicate the key message immediately, and highlight the company’s strengths in a clear and trustworthy way. At the same time, it needed to match the company’s visual identity and speak directly to the right local audience.

The goal was to design a spring campaign ad that grabs attention quickly and communicates the essentials at a glance. The ad needed to highlight SK Katsastus’ key strengths: friendly service, transparent pricing, family-friendliness, and a relaxed yet trustworthy atmosphere. It also had to remind customers to take care of their vehicle inspection in time before the spring rush begins.
Task
Our task was to design the entire ad from scratch based on the client’s goals and brand identity. We built a visual concept that works both in digital and print formats and carefully considered the message, structure and emphasis so that the result would be not only visually appealing, but also an effective marketing tool.
Design and Execution
In the visual design of the ad, we took into account both SK Katsastus’ brand and the target audience of Ylöjärven Uutiset. The overall tone was designed to feel warm, approachable and trustworthy. The company’s brand colours were used to strengthen recognition, while headlines and the most important messages were arranged in a clear hierarchy so that the viewer understands immediately what the ad is about.
The ad highlighted concrete customer benefits: vehicle inspection should be done in time, the service is smooth, pricing is transparent, and there are no hidden costs to worry about. We also brought forward the more human side of SK Katsastus — family-friendliness, coffee while waiting, and the possibility to follow the inspection process nearby. This made the ad more than just a standard inspection ad; it became part of the company’s brand and customer experience.
